This remarkable community is a reflection of who you are and the way you want to live. By blending long-held traditions with new opportunities, we have created a warm and inviting community of friends and neighbors.

Here, you’ll find a wide variety of restaurant-style dining options, too. Our professional chefs excel with locally sourced, fresh ingredients, scratch cooking and service excellence. They even offer made-to-order options.

At Canterbury, residents and their needs always come first. Here, every resident matters. That’s because our focus is on person-centered care, services and amenities.

Head to the Lower Level and you’ll find our very own Main Street, the center of our community. It is home to our Pub café, Wellness Center, Gift Shop and Beauty Salon. All of this and much more, just a few steps from your front door.

And that’s just the beginning of the connections and conveniences. Head outside, and you’ll find shuffle board and bocce ball courts, a putting green and a horse shoe pit, along with walking paths, lakeside patio, summer house and more.

And when you can’t find what you need here, we have a fleet of vehicles to accommodate all of your transportation needs.

When first arriving at Canterbury-on-the-Lake, it’s hard to miss St. Luke’s Memorial Chapel and Cultural Center. Here, family members may attend weekly worship services with residents. Canterbury also has a dedicated, full-time chaplain on site.

Besides worship, the center’s acoustics are perfect for organ and vocal concerts, as well as lectures and other functions. An unobtrusive video camera can also broadcast any chapel event through our in-house cable channel.

Residents also have access to an on-site health and Wellness Clinic with doctor days, registered nurse coverage, as well as podiatry, audiology, and optometry services.
