Donna Hofmann

"I have been employed here since 2007, and have enjoyed every minute.  It is a lovely place to work, with beautiful gardens outside, and a comfortable "country club" and homey atmosphere inside.  The residents' who live here are from a generation that appreciates what you do for them and always remember to say "thanks".  When I leave Canterbury at the end of the day - I leave with a happy heart, having been with staff that enjoy what they do, residents who love to share their lifetime experiences and are grateful for the time that you spend with them.  My job makes my life full - I have a job that I truly love!"

Candy Tower-Trotman, LPN, hire date 9/23/2008

Candy enjoys her role as a charge nurse at Canterbury on the Lake.  In her words, "every day is like a party when I come to work."  Candy does not believe in doing work that she does not enjoy.  She loves the residents she works with and the staff that she works along side.  "I am very happy to work here, I think it's a great place to be."

Makela Akins, CENA, hire date 3/23/09

Makela joined us through our CENA training classes.  She likes the atmosphere at Canterbury on the Lake.  "The building is nice, it's well taken care of and clean.  The residents are always doing something, unlike other homes where people may just be sitting around and bored, there is always something fun for them to do here.  I like working here."

Laura Colon, CENA, hire date 12/19/05

Laura joined us through our CENA training classes.  "I've worked at Canterbury on the Lake for 4.5 years.  I love my residents and their families.  They treat you like part of their family.  My co-workers are so supportive and compassionate."
